Bio
I am an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, Romania. I received my PhD from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where I worked as a Scientific Collaborator between 2010 and 2014. Previously, I obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, Romania, in 2009, with a specialization in Distributed Systems. I also had a first appointment as Research Assistant at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University between 2008 and 2010. My current research interests lie in the area of distributed systems, particularly blockchains and event processing architectures. I am a triple winner of ACM DEBS Grand Challenge, probably an obscure world record :) shared with some of my co-authors. More details about my research and teaching activities are available in the corresponding sections of this site.
