Romanian Symposium on Computer Science

The 2006 edition of ROSYCS continues the tradition of organizing scientific events in Iasi. An important feature of the ROSYCS event was the high quality of presented material and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere which encouraged the exchange of ideas. The last three editions were focused on Genetic Algorithms, Parallel & Distributed Computing, and Web Technologies.

This edition – focused on Database Theory and Practice in the context of (Semantic) Web Technologies – is held in conjunction with the European Conference on Intelligent Systems and Technologies - ECIT 2006.

We invite researchers, professionals, master and PhD students to contribute and to participate at the ROSYCS event. This edition, as well as previous editions, is intended to be an international forum where an effective exchange of knowledge and experience amongst researchers active in various areas of Web technologies can take place.
